[The feed starts out shaky as if the user is unfamiliar with the device, mostly just blurry green until the feed finally settles on the back of what looks like a talking horned bush.]

[There’s another adjustment to the feed as it shifts to a more unflattering worm’s eye view of Leshy, standing in bloodied and torn robes.]

You see before you the last of the gods of the Old Faith. All other gods lie conquered, helpless before He of Havoc.

[His foot bumps the feed by accident.]

Spare yourselves the same fate and fall to your knees, give praise and sacrifice to the Worm!

[The camera shifting after that bump of the foot reveals Leshy is not alone. Three sharp points of red appear in the darkness. They stare intently at Leshy and vanish into the dark again, circling the green worm from behind. Slowly the creature appears in the frame as it grows closer, the light shining on sharp teeth in a Cheshire grin, black ichor oozing between the gaps and down the black furred chin.

Leshy feels around for his camera, giving a proper view of his toothy face--only for it to go above his head. Whatever's happening behind him, it hasn't reached his attention yet.]

I await my temple raised in awe of my savagery! I smelled what you putrid cretins did for Narinder's temple...I want double the candles. Lit through skulls.

[He's too high off his victory, mentally running laps to consider his surroundings at the moment.

The creature in the back is easier to see now. It moves out of the shadows and toward the bush. That is infact Narinder. Though his eyes are black, save his glowing red pupils. Ichor runs down from all three of his eyes like black tears. His approach is slow and careful. Like a cat on the hunt. It isn't until he's right being Leshy that he makes a sound. A deep gutteral version of the cat's voice speaks.]

L̴͆̔̈́͝e̴̒͌̍̎s̵͗̈́̓̅ḣ̴̉̌̇y̴̾̂̔̎

[The feed blurs by, showing Leshy and the form of his brother right behind him. The worm's neck jerks, his body language visibly rattled by the voice. He stands motionless.]

It's-it's not fair...you're supposed to be dead....

[A wet dark laugh escapes the sharp drooling maw. His head tilts ever so slightly as his grin widens. His brother cannot see it but his glowing red aren't looking at him. He's looking at the camera now.]

[Narinder lunges at Leshy, knocking the phone to the floor once more, the shadow silhouettes of their wrestling forms can be seen only before the video cuts out completely]

As it turned out, the frozen heart symptoms had spread to Mary's canvas- or perhaps, more likely, from the canvas to her. The oil paint slowly cracked and buckled, leading to little bits of herself starting to flake away in turn. She needed to fix this, before it got any worse.]

Greetings Ellipsa, this is Barghest speaking. I'm making this post for multiple reasons, the chief of which being to inform my friends and loved ones that I'm back after my sudden absence. Evangeline, Rider, Chipp, Farja, I would like to meet up with you as soon as I can.

The second reason is to announce the change in my username. I no longer have need of the name Gawain, so from now on I will be going by Barghest alone.

The third and final announcement is that, as the captain of the Union Defense Knights, I will be taking on the volunteer position of firefighter wherever it is needed, in wild or urban environments. If you see a fire and there isn't anyone on hand who can handle it, please don't hesitate to call me.

[She knocks on the truck's side, changing the camera angle to reveal pumps hooked up to the truck's massive cannon. It is, apparently, a firetruck.]

I'm looking for roommates, actually! Or at least one roommate. Um, living alone is really lonely, you know? And I feel like I want to move out of the starter apartments, too!

I'm a good roommate! I don't party all night and I clean after myself. I do have a lot of Nyanperona merchandise, but I can keep them in my own room! I can also cook a little. At least simple meals.

Ah, and I'm 21 if that makes a difference?? Some people say I feel younger, so I figured I'd get that out there.

Hey guys! Ren here.

[Ren is smiling an in his room. It's the middle of the day, but his curtains are closed to stop sunlight from happening.]

I was thinking about holding an otherworldly concert at the Blossomcrown Concert Venue. It's been a while since the Art Festival, so it would be nice to perform together again and bring joy to people with our songs. Especially since we've recently got new idols and all.

[He yearns to go on a big stage and he's sure many others feel the same way.]

If we do this, however, I would need someone who can organize things during daytime. I can no longer roam freely during the day, so I could only arrange things remotely. Let me know if someone is interested in helping me do that.

Sunrise Charity Dinner and Date Auction Plotting Post

As of today, Dawn from the Summer Guild has unceremoniously handed Annie Leonhart (

lyingheart) a giant PR project to manage: the Sunrise Charity Dinner and Date Auction on the 29th of August 2025. She hates it. Everyone else is welcome.

Featuring both a Date Auction of willing Otherworlders and a more traditional Silent Auction for various items and experiences donated to the cause, the Sunrise Charity Dinner and Date Auction (hereto-after referred to as SCDDA) is raising funds for the individuals affected by the recent catastrophic events in Nightwake.

This includes helping with rehabilitation, finding homes for orphaned children, supporting families and friends grieving losses, and injecting further funds into the local medical clinics and health centers, particularly in first responder training and community outreach.

Please direct all questions related to this event to the Questions thread found below! With all the other threads. Look there are a lot of threads below.

This event is set to occur after August TDM, which will be on the 15th. Sign-ups for both the Date and Silent Auctions will be open until August 22nd. I basically need that much lead time to get everything organized and not conflict with the TDM, which also allows anyone who brings characters in with the TDM to join in with the SCDDA as well.

Otherwise, enjoy plotting here for the SCDDA, as this post is intended for people to chat with each other and see what shenanigans they want to get up to, including how they plan to attend, if they want to have fun at the festival activities after the dinner, or if people want to be voluntold to participate. Everything goes!

[Well, at least she could assure herself that even as a vampire, she could still appear on the network... that was a good start. And tired though she was, she was proud of what she'd achieved dammit! Masking the whole freezing-on-the-inside thing as best she could, Eva gave the network a confident smirk.]

I have an announcement to make.

So, if you've been out on ventures with me before, you probably know I've been training martial arts for years, right? Taekwondo, Karate and Tai-chi specifically. I thought it was about time I passed some of that knowledge on whilst I'm here.

To that end, I've opened up the Ushiromiya Dojo in central Nightwake.

With everyone getting sick it's thrown off my original schedule, but I'll be running taster lessons for two weeks starting Monday, before classes begin properly the week after that. In the meantime, feel free to come by and take a look at the place. The offer to spar is always welcome, of course, once everything's settled down.

Okay... so, hi. I’m Zoey—from HUNTR/X. Whiiich some of you probably never heard of unless your world has Wi-Fi and interdimensional pop charts, but trust me, we're kind of a big deal where I come from.

But real talk? This place is wild. New skies, weird magic, so many new salons and shops to explore... and honestly? I love it. But dropping into a new world to help save it definitely wasn't on our tour schedule, and I kind of can't do it on my own. So I’m looking for two people. My group. My ride-or-dies. Total icons. We're kind of a team, especially when it comes to saving-the-world kind of things.

Rumi is a magnificent singer and the lead of our group. She has long, purple hair, styled in a braid, and brown eyes. And Mira has dark purple eyes and has hot-pink hair tied into two twintails, and has the best moves being the lead dancer of the group. She choreographs all of our dance routines. Any help finding them would be great.
